Flooding in Ontario, Quebec and New Brunswick

A rising Saint-François River forced more than 600 people from their homes in Sherbrooke, Que., and more evacuations are possible Wednesday. A flood warning is in effect and expected to continue along the St. John River and its tributaries in New Brunswick.

Meanwhile, there's a touch of winter back in southern Ontario, and although that's brought along the headaches, hassles and hazards of the snow and ice, it's done nothing to abate the rising waters in some of the province's rivers.

Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne toured the flood-damaged regions in Belleville, Ont. on April 22, where she promised more money for nearby regions to rebuild and repair once flood waters had fully receeded.
