Grand Designs House Of The Year 2015 - The Spectacular Finalists

Britain’s best house has been named as Flint House in Buckinghamshire, in the Royal Institute of British Architects’ 2015 House of the Year Awards. Designed by architects Skene Catling De La Pena, the incredible modern home was considered by the judges to be a prime example of modern design. The beautiful structure, crafted from dark flint stone, rises in a slope from a field of the Rothschild’s seat at Waddeston Manor. The shortlist was made up of seven amazing buildings, all with quirky features and innovative design elements, and the winner was announced in a special episode of Grand Designs on Channel 4.
