Joey Chestnut wins Coney Island Hot Dog Eating Contest

Famed competitive eater Joey Chestnut defended his title at the annual Nathans Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest, held around Independence Day each year. Chestnut devoured 69 hotdogs, beating his previous record of 62. Matt "Megatoad" Stonie came in second with a still-impressive 51 hotdogs.
