Konark's 800-year-old Sun Temple still shines

If the Puri Jagannath temple was called the White Pagoda, the Sun Temple at Konark was called the Black Pagoda by European sailors who landed on the shores of the towns of Puri and Konark in Orissa. I drove from Puri to Konark to see the temple bask in the morning light, although superstitions dog the shrine.
