Paris shooting: Charlie Hebdo office attacked

Islamist militants stormed the offices of satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo in Paris on January 7, 2015, and opened fire, killing 12 people in what French authorities are calling the worst terror attack in four decades. The masked gunmen shouted Islamist slogans and said they were avenging the Prophet. Among those killed were chief editor Stephane Charbonnier and household-name cartoonists such as Georges Wolinski and Jean Cabut. (Yahoo News/Reuters)
