The titular heroine of Jane the Virgin has faced many romantic ups and downs in the last season and a half. When we first met Jane (Gina Rodriguez), she was dating and later got engaged to Det. Michael Cordero (Brett Dier). Then, she was accidentally inseminated and impregnated by Rafael Solano (Justin Baldoni), a wealthy hotelier whom she once had a crush on.
Since then, Jane has bounced between the two men — her first love and the father of her baby, Mateo. This being a telenovela, we don’t see this love triangle getting resolved anytime soon. Fans are passionately divided between the two camps, Team Michael and Team Rafael. But which team’s got the better case? Here are their pros — and cons!
Jane the Virgin airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on The CW.
