Jane and Rafael have butted heads over his wealth many times, but Rafael proved he can compromise by putting charitable stipulations on Mateo’s trust fund. The guy can grow!

Jane ended things with Michael because he attacked Rafael and accidentally hurt Mateo. But Michael was right that it was Rafael who got him fired. Guess he learned some underhanded scheming techniques from ex-wife Petra after all.
