Walking The Nile - Explorer Levison Wood Photographs His Nine-Month Trek

Explorer Levison Wood is the first man to walk the entire length of the river Nile, on a nine-month journey that saw him travel from the tropical rainforests of Rwanda through the heart of Africa. A photographer as well as an explorer, Wood captured the people, landscapes and animals he encountered on his trek in a series of extraordinary pictures. The photographs will be displayed alongside sculptures by Rosamond Lloyd to form the ‘Visions of Africa' exhibition at La Galleria in London in aid of the Tusk Trust, a conservation, community development and environmental education initiative.
