An impressive 148ft spiral observation tower connected to a treetop walkway has opened in Denmark.

The 45-metre hourglass-shaped tower is the first of its kind in Scandinavia and is hoped to help visitors get closer to nature.

It is set inside the Camp Adventure Climbing Park, the largest in Denmark spreading across 18 acres, in a forest an hour south of Copenhagen, and the longest zip lines in Denmark.

The park has 10 climbing courses at varying heights, allowing visitors to move from tree to tree via obstacles including zip lines as well as a twisted ramp, looping pathways and bleacher seating.

The tower’s top platform is 135 meters above sea level and is the highest available point in the whole of Sealand, Denmark.

The park’s vision behind the project is to make the forest accessible to everyone without disrupting the environment.
