Sausages, rideable robots and giant needles: New Guinness World Records revealed

The latest flurry of Guinness World Records have been revealed today as the 2019 book hits the shelves.

From the oldest flying trapeze artist to the fastest speed in a jet-propelled go-kart, the most sausages produced in a minute or the largest knitting needles, the feats have been recorded in the Guinness World Records 2019.

Animals feature too, with the highest jump by a dog include in the list as well as the most double dutch-style skips by a dog in one minute.

Along with each world record comes the story behind it, like that of Sumiko Iwamuro, who has the record as the oldest professional club DJ at the age of 83 years and 188 days.

Other record-breakers revealed today include: the most dice balanced on a cat’s paw; most body modifications (male); fastest 50m hand skating; longest time controlling a football with the soles whilst on the roof of a moving car; most fire breathing backflips in one minute and most consecutive back handsprings (one hand).
