Pioneer Woman Ree Drummond Helps Daughter Paige Find Her Dream Wedding Dress: 'A Really Special Weekend'
"I'm just so thrilled for Paige," the blogger wrote after revealing her 25-year-old daughter had said "yes to the dress"
Ree Drummond's daughter Paige's wedding preparation is in full swing!
On Sunday, Sept. 15, the Food Network star, 55, opened up about taking Paige, 25, wedding dress shopping in her Pioneer Woman blog after it was revealed her youngest daughter had gotten engaged to her boyfriend of one year, David Andersen, on Aug. 4.
Ree also shared two snaps on her Instagram Stories from the outing. One photo showed the mother and daughter posing in one of the shops, with Paige donning a long white dress with strappy sandals, while her mom wore jeans and a white blouse.
"Had a really special weekend doing a really special thing!" the mom of five wrote alongside the snap, linking to her blog post.
A second clip showed the wedding dress shoppers — Ree, Paige, Alex Drummond and David's mom and sister — cheersing their glasses. "We said yes to the champagne!!" Ree wrote, adding The Dixie Cups' "Chapel of Love" to the post.

Paige also posed with an "I said 'yes' to the dress" sign on her Instagram Stories, writing "Found something really special this weekend!!!" and tagging Warren Barron Bridal in Dallas, Texas, which is where her sister Alex, 27, found her dream dress four years ago.
Sharing multiple snaps from the special day on her blog post, Ree talked fans through it all.
"There's something about wedding dress shopping that feels like an official kickoff!" she began, adding, "We ooohed, ahhhed, sipped champagne, and did all the things we gals do in these kinds of settings."

After revealing Paige had tried on 40 dresses in total, Ree told fans, "Fortunately, she moved at lightning speed and only lingered on the ones she knew she loved. I have a feeling forty dresses isn't that unusual, but I would have been exhausted if I'd had to get zipped up that many times."
Paige ended up "finding the dress of her dreams," the social media personality explained, but she didn't share which one she said "yes" to so she wouldn't spoil her big moment.
"I PROMISE you that the week after the wedding next May, I will post a gallery of every single contender. It was such a fun fashion show and I would love to dig into all the options and details and share what I learned," she insisted. "For now, I'm just so thrilled for Paige that she found a dress that she absolutely loves and that she feels is right for her."

Ree's latest blog post comes after she revealed she'd kept the engagement a secret "for about six weeks" before David popped the question to Paige.
"I am so relieved I can finally share this news because the stress was getting to me," Ree began her post on Aug. 4, explaining that the couple had got engaged that night.
After the big announcement was revealed, Ree shared a carousel of photos from the proposal on Instagram. "Happiness is seeing your daughter happy! 😊❤️ Congratulations, David and Paige! (This is gonna be fun!)," she captioned the post.
