Poilievre calls on Trudeau to implement plan to close Roxham Road border crossing within 30 days
Conservative Party Leader Pierre Poilievre criticized Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Tuesday over his government's handling of the Roxham Road irregular border crossing, and called on Trudeau to implement a plan to close the crossing within 30 days. He went on to claim there was no problem with this area before Trudeau took office. He said that the problem "followed" Trudeau, and "didn't precede him." He went on to say that the immigrants crossing there are not at fault, saying they're just doing what Trudeau "told them to do."
