Poilievre skeptical of Trudeau’s promises to address foreign election interference

Speaking to journalists in Ottawa on Tuesday, Conservative Party of Canada Leader Pierre Poilievre was skeptical of any "special rapporteur" who would oversee actions after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau committed to new steps to combat allegations of foreign electoral interference. When asked if Poilievre had ordered any reviews of his own Conservative party nominations in light of the revelations, Poilievre said that he would “root it out” if any information was brought to his attention.
