Two more people have been charged in connection with the shooting death of Shania Chartrand in Winnipeg's West Broadway neighbourhood.
On Tuesday, Winnipeg police arrested Tyrone Anthony Chippeway, 22, and Ashley Marie Bezecki, 27, on second-degree murder charges.
After a report of gunfire on March 12, Chartrand was found wounded on Spence Street between Portage Avenue and Broadway. The 21-year-old was rushed to hospital but later died of her injuries.
Chippeway and Bezecki were caught by police during an investigation into a robbery on the 200 block of Atlantic Avenue.
Earlier on Friday, police charged both Lacy Sorokowski, 22, and Christopher Ryan St. Paul, 24, with second-degree murder in connection to Chartrand's killing.
All four accused remain in custody, police said.
