Six Arrested in C-Kent Police Sweep

Chatham-Kent Police have apprehended six individuals who were involved in criminal activities across the region.

Man Arrested for Failing to Attend Court

A 40-year-old Wallaceburg resident was taken into custody after being located on McNaughton Avenue. He was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court in January 2024. Charges include mischief, break-and-enter, and failing to attend court.

Man Arrested for Assault

Following a motor vehicle collision on Erieau Road, a 43-year-old Wardsville man was arrested. Police discovered he was wanted for assault stemming from a June 2023 incident.

Man Arrested for Break-and-Enter

In response to break-in progress on Wellington Street in Dresden, officers apprehended a 39-year-old suspect found on the premises with burglary tools and copper wiring. He was also wanted for failing to attend court.

Man Arrested on Warrant

A 28-year-old Chatham man voluntarily surrendered at the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters on an outstanding warrant for providing DNA after a conviction under the Criminal Code of Canada.

Man Arrested on Warrant During Traffic Stop

During a routine traffic stop, a 38-year-old Chatham man was found to have an endorsed outstanding warrant for failure to comply with a release order. He was processed and released with a future court date.

Man Arrested for Intoxication

Responding to a disturbance at a local hospital, police arrested an intoxicated individual who refused to leave after receiving treatment. The individual was held in custody until sober.
