Police footage shows explosion after head-on collision on Utah highway
Police in Utah have released dramatic dash camera footage that shows the moment when two vehicles collided, resulting in a massive explosion.
KUTV 2News says the fatal crash captured by Utah Highway Patrol took place on July 26 on Highway 89/91 in Wellsville, Utah. The police car was reportedly trailing the suspect allegedly trying to evade officers in a pickup truck.
The video shows the pickup truck veering to the left into oncoming traffic before it smashes head on into a semi truck loaded with sand, KUTV 2 News reports.
The driver of the pickup truck was reportedly killed in the collision.
