Winnipeg police released the name of a man wanted for stealing signed Jets memorabilia from the MTS Centre in broad daylight late last month.
Grant Alex Morrisseau, 31, faces charges of break and enter and theft under $5,000 for allegedly stealing a jersey signed by defenceman Dustin Byfuglien and a Heritage Classic jacket autographed by former Jets star Dale Hawerchuk.
The autographed jersey and jacket were destined for charities, according to True North Sports & Entertainment, which owns the Jets and MTS Centre.
The break-in happened around 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 20.
Police said the suspect also stole a laptop computer, a tablet, plus a number of iPhones from area offices.
Earlier that day, the suspect also stole clothes from a vehicle.
