Police investigate man found with gunshot wounds off Texas 360 in east Arlington

Authorities are investigating the shooting of a man who was found Wednesday evening near a shopping center off Texas 360, according to Arlington police.

At around 8:50 p.m., officers responded to the parking lot of a shopping center off 360, near the intersection of East Arkansas Lane and South Watson Road, after receiving a report from a 911 caller that their friend had been shot.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found an adult male with multiple gunshot wounds, police said. He was taken to a local hospital.

His condition is unknown, according to police.

Police said they do not believe the shooting happened where first responders found him. His friend drove him to the shopping center parking lot, according to police.

Arlington police are working with neighboring agencies, including Grand Prairie police, to determine where the shooting occurred.
