Peel police are investigating after a body was discovered in a Mississauga apartment on Saturday morning.
Const. Kyle Villers said police received a call shortly after midnight about a man who had died in a building near Hurontario Street and Glenn Hawthorne Boulevard.
Officers arrived to find the body of a man in his 20s, Villers told reporters at the scene on Saturday.
Police initially described the death as "suspicious," but confirmed in a tweet later Saturday following a post-mortem examination that the death was deemed "non-suspicious in nature."
Peel police's forensics identification team was in the area taking photographs and investigating the apartment unit where the body was located, Villers said.
Anyone with information regarding the death is urged to call police or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers.
