Police investigating shooting on Six Nations

Police are investigating after a shooting on Six Nations of the Grand River on Thursday.

Details are scarce but police believe the victim was targeted. Police did not provide any information about injuries.

“There is no danger to the public,” Six Nations Police said in a media release.

Mohawk Road is closed between Third Line and Fourth Line to allow for the investigation, which involves officers from Six Nations Police and the OPP.

Witnesses to the shooting or anyone with information is asked to call Six Nations Police at 519-445-2811 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
