Toronto police are investigating after a woman in her 70s was found without vital signs in a parking lot on Dundas St. West on Thursday night.
Const. Allyson Douglas-Cook said police got a call just before 7:30 p.m about a person without vital signs in a parking lot at 3375 Dundas St. West.
Toronto paramedics transported her to hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The cause of her death is unknown at this time.
Police say the circumstances around her death are very unclear, and they are not ruling out the death being suspicious.
Const. Clint Stibbe, a traffic services media officer, told CBC News, that information from the hospital indicates that the woman may have been hit by a car.
Toronto police traffic services have taken over the investigation due to the possible involvement of a motor vehicle.
