Windsor stabbing suspect turns himself in

Windsor man charged with break and enter of downtown business

A Windsor man wanted in connection with a weekend stabbing has turned himself in to police.

Around 3 a.m. Saturday police were called to a hotel near Dougall Avenue and Grand Marais Road West, where they found a 20-year-old man in the parking lot with cuts to his face and stab wounds.

The man was taken to hospital. 

Police issued a warrant for a 26-year-old Windsor man, and he was arrested without incident Wednesday.

The suspect faces one count of aggravated assault, one of robbery and two counts of breach of probation.

Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
