Police probe incidents in Queens

Vehicle vs. bicycle

On November 11 at about 3 p.m., Queens RCMP responded to a collision involving a vehicle and a bike at the intersection of Great Hill Road and Highway 3, just outside of Liverpool.

The initial investigation indicates that an adult female was riding a bike and was struck by an adult male driving a car.

Paramedics and Liverpool volunteer firefighters also attended the scene. The cyclist was assessed by paramedics and transported to the hospital, and released shortly thereafter. The investigation is ongoing.

Single vehicle rollover

A single-vehicle rollover November 9 that occurred on Highway 8 in Harmony Mills remains under investigation.

Paramedics, Queens RCMP, and North Queens volunteer firefighters were called to the scene at around 6:50 p.m.

An adult male from Caledonia was the lone occupant of the vehicle and was found at the scene outside of the vehicle.

The victim was airlifted to Queen Elizabeth II Hospital in Halifax.

Police are still looking into the circumstances.
