Police pull critically injured man from Calgary clothing donation bin

A man in his 30s is in critical condition after he was rescued from a clothing donation bin early Monday morning.

Calgary police say the man was pulled from the donation bin, located in the parking lot of the Hillhurst-Sunnyside Community Association in northwest Calgary, shortly after 3 a.m.

He was taken to hospital in critical, life-threatening condition, EMS confirmed.

Police have since reviewed surveillance video, which shows the man going in and out of the bin multiple times before he got stuck.

He was alone at the time.

Police said they do not suspect foul play and no charges are pending at this time.
