Police recover body of missing B.C. cliff-jumper

Police have recovered the body of a 26-year-old cliff jumper who went missing in a lake near Pemberton, B.C., on Friday.

Mounties say the Surrey resident jumped 53 metres into Anderson Lake, near D'Arcy, and didn’t resurface.

Witnessses dived into the water immediately but were unable to locate him.

The man’s friends told police he was an experienced cliff-jumper but had never jumped in this location.
