Police are calling on the public to help identify a suspect in a string of armed robberies across Calgary.

An unidentified man threatened clerks with a firearm while robbing at least eight convenient stores across northeast and southeast Calgary between Aug. 25 and Dec. 15, police said in a press release on Wednesday.

He demanded money, cigarettes and lottery tickets each time, and typically wore a black-and-white Crooks & Castles hoodie.
