Calgary police are asking the public to help identify a man who is suspected to have been involved in two separate incidents across the city this summer.
In the first incident, a patron of Cowboys Casino was chatting with three suspects and eventually walked with them to their car.
Once the patron voluntarily climbed into the car, one of the suspects allegedly pointed a firearm at the victim, and demanded that the victim share their bank cards and pin numbers.
The victim managed to escape the car and seek assistance from the police.
One of the suspects escaped around this time, and two others involved in the holdup were arrested.
Police discovered a loaded 12-gauge shotgun, a large hunting knife and bear spray in the vehicle.
It believed by police that the male suspect who escaped was involved in a break-and-enter a little more than a month later on Aug. 31.
The suspect, who is still on the loose, gained entry to the house in the 0-100 block of Pantego Avenue N.W. from the garage sometime in the late night or early morning hours.
A wallet, car keys and two vehicles were stolen.
Calgary police want to speak to anyone with information relevant to these two instances by calling the non-emergency line at 403-266-1234 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
