Police seek suspect in Bloor & Ossington sex assault

Toronto police are asking for the public's help after a woman was allegedly forced into a car and sexually assaulted early Friday morning.

A 21-year-old woman was walking near Bloor Street West and Ossington Avenue between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. on Friday when, according to investigators, she was approached by a man and forced into his vehicle.

She was driven to an undisclosed location and sexually assaulted, police said, after which the suspect drove her to the area of Landsdowne Avenue and Dupont Street. She was released and fled the area.

The suspect is described as a man with dark brown skin, between 40 and 50 years old and an South Asian accent. He is about five feet, six inches tall, with a thin build.

He was unshaven, wearing a white dress shirt with light blue plaid pattern, blue jeans, white running shoes and a dark blue baseball cap.
