Police seek suspect in Sherbourne Street double stabbing

Paramedics say two people were transported to a trauma centre in serious condition after being stabbed around 7:30 a.m. Saturday morning on Sherbourne Street near Gerrard Street.

Toronto police are looking for a man in a one-tonne, dirty black truck in connection with the double stabbing.

The suspect is described as a black man with a beard and a six-inch facial scar. He was wearing a grey track suit.

The black truck has a silver equipment box on the back and there are two other people in the truck, police say.

Authorities are urging the public not to approach the suspect and call 911 if he is spotted.
