Police seize cash, crystal meth in 'Project Decline'

Toronto police say that 11 people are facing charges after a months-long investigation into alleged crystal methamphetamine trafficking.

In late June, police launched an investigation known as Project Decline, which led to a series of search warrants being executed in Toronto and Peel Region earlier this week.

Police say they seized $5,445 in Canadian cash, another $711 in U.S. currency, nearly half a kilogram of crystal methamphetamine, as well as smaller amounts of marijuana, heroin and other drugs.

Eleven Toronto residents are now facing charges. Two of the accused are facing trafficking charges.
