Known as “The Fluffy Duo,” these two adorable dogs seem to be inseparable.

Hoshi, an American Eskimo dog from Washington, is blind. Fortunately, his best pal, a Pomeranian named Zen, is by his side when they go on adventures together.

Attached by a leash, Zen is Hoshi’s eyes and helps guide him. A social media account called “The Fluffy Duo” details their life together — from camping trips to hiking together and even cuddling in bed.

The four-legged friends have more than 20,000 followers on Instagram. But it wasn’t always this way.

Hoshi used to be able to see before a painful eye disease resulted in both of his eyes getting surgically removed, according to Inside Edition. Six months before the operation, his family rescued Zen and the two became fast friends.

The pair’s owner, Pauline Perez, told The Dodo that Zen seems to know that Hoshi is blind.

“They are hiking buddies,” she said. “We attach a leash together and Zen does the leading. Even if they’re on two separate leashes, Zen walks beside him.”

If anything, these two sure prove that best friends can make all the difference — especially through difficult times.
