Popular English pop band kicks off tour in Sacramento with last-minute tickets as low as $7
Grammy-nominated band The 1975 is set to bring indie flare to Sacramento this week — and last-minute tickets may be cheap enough for you to secure a seat to the show.
The English pop-rock band will kick off the North American leg of its tour “The 1975 Still...at their very best” at the Golden 1 Center on Tuesday evening with special guest pop musician Dora Jar, according to ticket distribution website Ticketmaster.
Some of the British band’s most popular songs — “Chocolate” and “Love Me” — landed on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2014 and 2015. The group’s latest album “Being Funny in a Foreign Language” was released last fall and it followed the album “A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships” released in 2018.
The North American leg of the tour will continue in San Jose on Thursday. Shows in San Diego and Los Angeles are sold out, according to the band’s website.
The 1975 consists of lead singer Matty Healy, bassist Ross MacDonald, guitarist Adam Hann and drummer George Daniel. The group formed in the early 2000s.
