Populism, disinformation undercutting people's confidence in institutions: Trudeau

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was in the Netherlands for an official visit on Friday where he fielded questions from students alongside Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte at Leiden University. "We're in this world right now where populism, disinformation, apathy and cynicism are all undercutting people's confidence in the competence of institutions to actually look out for the big picture and look out for them. And that is a path that leads to real challenges for the world," Trudeau said.
