Possibly armed man barricaded a home in Granum, Alta.
RCMP said on Tuesday night that there was a man barricaded and possibly armed in a residence in Granum, a hamlet in southern Alberta.
According to the release issued at about 9 p.m, Fort MacLeod RCMP were on scene and traffic was being re-routed in the area.
RCMP told CBC News officers were executing an arrest warrant on the man, who then barricaded himself in the residence.
The release said that there was no threat to the public and that more information would be available soon.
