North Texas-native Post Malone has only just begun his country music career, but his latest collaborator is a genre icon.

Malone, 28, was born in New York but moved to Grapevine as a child and grew up in North Texas. He began his career in the hip-hop and pop genre, before releasing his first ever country song last month.

After teaming with Morgan Wallen on the song “I Had Some Help,” Malone’s latest country collaborator is none other than Blake Shelton.

Malone and Shelton teamed up to sing the currently-unreleased song “Somebody Pour Me A Drink” at Country Music Association Fest in Nashville last week.

In a social media video posted Tuesday, the pair are seen rehearsing the song in between filming a music video. Malone, a Dallas Cowboys super fan, is wearing a jersey while Shelton is clothed in his trademark black shirt and jeans.
