Pranksters fool groom into thinking he’s about to bungee jump

A Spanish man about to take a leap into matrimony was pranked into believing he was taking a massive bungee jump over the edge – only to fall a few inches.

A video shows the groom-to-be stripped down to his underwear with a blindfold secured around his face. He’s also outfitted with a cape around his shoulders and a harness around his waist.

The man is shown leaning up against a metal sidewalk barrier Irun, Spain , nervously coughing as his pals attempt to soothe his fears.

After slowly helping the blindfolded man climb onto the other side of the railing, his comrades hold on to him, as he cautiously dangles his foot over the “drop”. The gang of friends then spends a few moments giving the visibly nervous man a pep talk on which way he’s going to fall.

“This is really real, I’m really here,” he says. “But do I have to jump or fall?”

Finally the moment arrives. The groom-to-be takes deep, laboured breaths as his friends hold out their arms to catch him. After his pals count down from three, the man awkwardly falls forward and stumbles to the ground. His friends collapse around him with laughter, as he rolls on the ground yelling obscenities.

Let’s hope this isn’t a metaphor for his upcoming nuptials.
