President Obama Crashed A Couple’s Wedding Over The Weekend
Wedding crashers are never a welcome addition to your big day, but when it’s the President of the United States then perhaps exceptions can be made.
That’s the unlikely scenario that newlywed couple Brian and Stephanie Tobe encountered, when they realised that one Barack Obama was playing golf at the venue where they were holding their nuptials.
The couple were getting hitched at Torrey Pines Golf Course in La Jolla, San Diego, when they spotted the president - and photographers Jeff and Erin Youngren were on hand to capture the special moment.
In one of the photos, the couple can be seen grinning ecstatically as they pose with the President - who is decked out in his best golf shorts and cap.
Speaking of the moment when they realised the President was at the venue, Jeff Youngren said: ‘I said I bet you if we went down there he would take a picture.
‘Stephanie was like ‘YES,’ and she took off running.
Jeff added that President Obama was ‘so kind and gracious, especially to the couple.’
His wife, Erin, added: ‘It was a life moment that none of us will ever forget.’
