Prince George Went Full Big Brother While Correcting Prince Louis at Trooping the Color

If there’s one thing Prince George and Princess Charlotte are gonna do, it’s mind their little brother, Prince Louis.

On June 16, the Wales children joined their parents at the King’s Birthday Parade, also known as Trooping the Color, which also happened to mark Kate Middleton’s first public appearance since announcing her cancer diagnosis in late March. While the Princess of Wales wore a white coat dress with black trim that complemented nine-year-old Charlotte’s navy coatdress, 10-year-old George and 6-year-old Louis matched in double-breasted navy suits and blue ties.

While the youngest Wales sibling didn’t get up to his usual hilarious antics on the Buckingham Palace Balcony, his older brother still found something to correct. In one clip that is going viral online, Prince George can be seen reminding his brother to face the public (and the cameras) when Prince Louis turned around to share a moment with Prince William. While Louis’s own father seemed to be enjoying his son’s attention, Louis listened to his older brother anyway.

This wouldn’t be the first time Prince Louis has been low-key chastized by his siblings at this particular event. While riding in their family’s carriage in 2022, Princess Charlotte gently stopped her brother from continuously waving to the public after the rest of their crew had put their hands down. Some decorum, please!

For a family of literal prince and princess, there’s something surprisingly relatable about these siblings. On Father’s Day, the trio sent a message to Prince William that could have (and probably did) appear on thousands of mothers» Instagram feeds. “We love you, Papa. Happy Father’s Day 💕,” read the caption of Kate Middleton’s latest portrait, which was signed “G, C, & L.”

In the photo, the Wales children and their papa face away from the camera, overlooking a serene beach with their arms wrapped around each other. Clearly, G and C correct L because they care.
