Prince William Just Made a Surprise Visit to Balmoral to See the Queen
Prince William was photographed in Balmoral this morning, attending church with his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth.
Kate Middleton and the couple's three children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—weren't in attendance.
The queen has regularly been photographed attending church in Crathie Kirk throughout the summer.
Prince William surprised royal fans this morning when he was photographed arriving at church with the queen.
It appears that William had left the Duchess of Cambridge and their three children at home to pay a special visit to his grandmother in Scotland. The queen attends church in the local town of Crathie Kirk whenever she stays at her Balmoral residence, and has been accompanied by various members of the royal family during summer 2019.
As the royals arrived to the church service, Prince William and his grandmother appeared to be chatting and enjoying spending some quality time with one another.
While Meghan Markle and Prince Harry haven't made the trip to Balmoral to visit the queen this summer, there is apparently no bad blood between the family members. A source close to the couple previously told BAZAAR.com, “Given that they were both working through the majority of August it was not something that was scheduled this summer. Plus, it’s worth noting that the family often see the queen when she is at Windsor. They are very close.”
