Prince William Has “No Interest” in Reconnecting With Prince Harry Despite That Birthday Shout-Out
Prince Harry and Prince William have been locked in the Never-Ending Story of Feuds™️ for years now (we have a whole timeline this way). And for a moment there, it looked like the ice was thawing…mostly because the Prince and Princess of Wales went ahead and wished Harry a happy b-day via their official Instagram account. I mean, nothing too wild, but this is coming after months of silence, so!

That! Said!!! Apparently, William still has zero interest in making amends with his brother. In fact, he reportedly doesn’t plan on posting another birthday message next year.
“The honest truth is that William has no interest right now in reaching out to Harry and Meghan,” a friend of the Waleses tells The Daily Beast. “He regards what Harry said in his memoir (i.e., Spare) as unforgivable and, understandably given Catherine’s cancer diagnosis, just wants to focus on his wife and family first and his job second. There isn’t space for a complicated reconciliation process with Harry. It’s not a priority.”
Meanwhile, a palace source notes that William and Kate’s message wasn’t signed “W&C,” meaning it wasn’t a personal message from them.
“It was just a company thing. Happy birthday blah blah blah,” the insider explains. “It makes sense for Kensington Palace and Buckingham Palace to align themselves on a little bit of essentially routine messaging around Harry. It shows William is willing to respect his father’s seniority and do what is asked of him.”
And speaking of His Majesty, a friend of Charles has this to say: “The King has made it very clear that he loves Harry and wants to be part of his and his family’s life. Publicly wishing him a happy 40th birthday is completely of a piece with that ambition.”
Okay then!!!!!
