Prince William Opens Up About Princess Diana, Kate Middleton & Becoming a Father

Prince William is getting candid about life as a dad in a new documentary.

Football, Prince William and our Mental Health is set to air in the United Kingdom on May 28, and will see the future king discussing a myriad of personal topics. According to People, during the documentary William had a discussion with former soccer player Marvin Sordell. Prince William revealed, "Having children is the biggest life-changing moment, it really is." He also touched on the impact that losing his mother, Princess Diana, had on the rest of his life. The prince continued, "I think when you’ve been through something traumatic in life... my mother dying when I was younger, the emotions come back, in leaps and bounds."

The prince also told Sordell, "I can completely relate to what you’re saying about children coming along—it’s one of the most amazing moments of life, but it’s also one of the scariest."

Opening up his wife during the documentary, William also went into detail about his relationship with Kate Middleton. William adorably revealed, "Me and Catherine, particularly, we support each other and we go through those moments together and we kind of evolve and learn together."
