Back in July, we were all cheered up from our lockdown blues with the surprise news that Princess Beatrice had secretly got married to her fiancé, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. The couple exchanged vows at All Saints Chapel in Windsor Great Park, in a ceremony that was "intimate," with "strict social distancing measures in place."

Beatrice and Edo had originally planned to marry on 29 May, in a ceremony at St. James’s Palace followed by a reception in the gardens of Buckingham Palace. But in March it became clear that coronavirus was going to stand in their way, and an official statement from Buckingham Palace revealed the wedding plans were 'under review'. So instead, the Princess and her Italian property developer fiancé organised a small-scale wedding - and the photographs were just beautiful.

That was two-and-a-half months ago, and since then the newlyweds have ventured off on various honeymoon trips. While the royal's new husband posted on Instagram shortly after the big day, paying romantic tribute to his new wife, we still haven't heard anything from the bride herself about the wedding - until now, that is.

Princess Beatrice is not a working royal, but she does do occasional charity work outside of her career in tech company Afiniti. One such philanthropic project was for the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice; Beatrice featured in a video to announce the winners of the charity’s summer art competition.

Holding up one drawing of a wedding in the clip, which has been shared on Facebook, Beatrice says to the camera: "Do you think this might be my wedding? Because I had the chance to get married this summer and it was so much fun."

Ooooh. "So much fun," was it? That's the most information we've received from Beatrice since the nuptials happened, and we'll take it!

Since the wedding in July, Princess Beatrice's wedding dress has been put on display at Windsor Castle. The gown, which looked to have been inspired by her own mum Sarah Ferguson's wedding dress, was loaned to 32-year-old Beatrice by the Queen.

It was designed by British fashion designer Sir Norman Hartnell and first worn by the bride's grandmother in the 1960’s. It was altered (including the addition of some puffy sleeves) for the Princess’ wedding to Edo, and she looked absolutely stunning in it.

Let's look forward to more snippets of information about Beatrice and Edo's wedding in the coming months!
