Priyanka Chopra has finally revealed the cover of her upcoming memoir Unfinished.

The star took to Instagram to share the first glimpse of her book with her fans, which is now available to pre-order.

"Ironically, I named this memoir years before I started writing it. Having been a public person now for 20 years, with so much life to live and a long list of things to check off my list personally and professionally, I am very much #Unfinished," Chopra captioned the post.

"But the funny thing about writing a memoir is that it forces you to look at things differently, reconciling so many things you thought you had put to bed. In doing so I’ve realised that being “unfinished" has deeper meaning for me, and has in fact been one of the most common threads of my life."

Chopra shared three posts on her feed, all detailing the personal journey she's been on to write the book.

"I also hope you’ll walk away with the confidence of knowing that IT’S OK to pick up, walk away, leave things unfinished, and move on to what’s next if that’s what your journey requires to get to the next destination. We all have a different story to tell, this is my story, and I am #Unfinished," she concluded.

Priyanka Chopra has been very productive with her time during lockdown, using the time to write and develop ideas for shows and films. She's also finally finished her long-awaited memoir.

The A-lister previously explained that the book, believed to be titled Unfinished, will see her open up like never before through a collection of personal essays, stories and observations.

She revealed why her memoir was titled Unfinished on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last year: "Because there is so much I want to do with my life. And because I haven't written it yet. It's continuing to be finished."

The actress discussed how she's been being creative during lockdown in a recent interview with People.

“As a creative person, for me, a lot of projects ended up happening during this quarantine,” she said. “I’ve been developing shows and movies, writing, and I finished my memoir. It’s been a creatively sound time, besides being absolutely strange.”

Chopra and her husband Nick Jonas have also been strictly abiding by the safety guidance during the ongoing pandemic, she says, as the conditions may put them at a higher risk than others.

“I’m asthmatic and my husband’s type 1 diabetic, so we have to be even more careful,” she notes.

“But there have been a lot of Zoom calls and Zoom brunches. We have a really large friends and family group, and I’ve had a lot of birthdays in my family that have happened recently, so we’ve done a few socially distanced lunches.”

“If you have the ability to have a human connection with friends, family, whether that’s virtually or whether that’s in a socially distant way, I think that’s really important to feel a sense of normalcy.”

Like many of us, Chopra is thinking about when to return to work, as her film project plans -both as an actress and producer - currently remain unclear.

“I’m prepared to go back to work, I know I’ll have to make sure that I’m extremely disciplined, super careful for myself and for everyone else, and take the quarantining and testing measures seriously.”

She continued: “It’s a new normal, and it’s not going to turn back into being what it was any time soon. So we just have to come to terms with that reality.”
