New project for Modesto’s Jeremy Renner ‘painful, deeply healing, and ultimately cathartic’
Modesto native Jeremy Renner has turned his talents back to music.
The Academy Award-nominated actor recently posted on Instagram that he has put together music that chronicles his recovery from a New Year’s Day snowplow accident that left him critically injured.
“A collection of music we wrote about different milestones in my journey of recovery since Jan 1st this year. ‘Love and Titanium’ has been painful, deeply healing, and ultimately cathartic for me to create. I hope I get the courage to share with you all,” the post reads.
A photo — what could be part of an album cover — with the post includes the word “Soon” at the top.
Renner has dabbled in music over his career.
“The Marvel actor and ‘Hurt Locker’ Oscar nominee previously released the edgy rock track ‘Heaven Don’t Have a Name’ in summer 2019, and his EP ‘The Medicine’ (including the song ‘Main Attraction’) dropped in March 2020,” according to a story posted on Variety.
Renner also is returning to acting. A third season of the Beyer High School graduate’s streaming show “Mayor of Kingstown” on Paramount + has been announced.
