Russian dictator Vladimir Putin arrived in Beijing early on May 16 for a two-day visit at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping, the Kremlin press service claimed.

Putin’s arrival follows U.S. State Secretary Antony Blinken's visit to Beijing, where he warned Chinese diplomat Wang Yi against increasing China's military support to Russia, Reuters reported.

Chinese and Russian leaders will hold informal talks to discuss the issues of Ukraine, Asia, energy, and trade, Kremlin foreign policy aide, Yuriy Ushakov, claimed.
