Get excited, Pyrex collectors. The company just announced it's reissuing a limited-edition line of a cult favorite: the Lucky in Love pattern from 1959!

So rare is the original cookware covered in clovers, hearts, and a grass base, it's hailed by fan groups including Pyrex Passion and Pyrex Love as the "holy grail of Pyrex." The coveted round opalware glass casserole dish even sold for more than $4,000 on eBay in 2015.

This March, you can get your hands on the new Forever Lucky in Love, for much, much less. Available at Target stores, Macys.com, and Pyrexware.com, the 2018 collection consists of clear glass storage dishes (round and rectangular in a variety of sizes) boasting the same beautiful design - perfect for St. Patrick’s Day! Prices range from $4 for a 2-Cup Storage Dish with Lid to $12 for a 4-Piece 4-Cup Storage Dish Set (we'll update with links when they're released).

"The most distinct feature of the pattern has been its rarity and uplifting, fresh design," Pyrex tells CountryLiving.com. "The classic hearts-and-shamrocks pattern is the same, but now relaunched to reach a new generation of home cooks through a variety of food storage dish sizes with lids."

Originally produced at the Corning Glass Works plant in Charleroi, PA, the company says Lucky in Love was originally a limited release. There is no record of just how many pieces were sold, "making it the single most intriguing and desirable Pyrex pattern," Pyrex says.

One extremely rare prototype (sans the pink hearts) can be found at the Corning Museum of Glass (CMOG).

Apparently, on the 1959 version, the green grass bled through the pink heart. As Pyrex Passion notes, the defect "would likely not pass the quality standards at Corning for Consumer Products," and "the few samples of the casseroles that remain were likely discarded and taken home by employees."

As for whether or not we can expect more vintage designs to make a comeback? "While we can't promise anything right now, maybe more Pyrex pattern favorites will return!" Pyrex tells us.
