Quebec premier seeking more power from Ottawa over immigration

Premier François Legault is calling on the federal government to grant Quebec more powers over immigration, especially where it concerns family reunification programs. The issue being the high number of immigrants accepted on family reunification claims who don’t speak French. Analysts say it’s a way for Legault to shore up his base ahead of the fall provincial election. Global’s Tim Sargeant reports.
