'Rest In Peace, Your Majesty': The world reacts to the death of Queen Elizabeth II
The Royal Family has announced that Queen Elizabeth II his died at the age of 96.
The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon.

"The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon," the message posted to social media reads. "The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow."
She became queen on Feb. 6, 1952, and was crowned on June 2, 1953, the mother of Prince Charles, heir to the throne, and grandmother of Princes William and Harry. She is the longest-reigning monarch in British history.
Several individuals and organizations have already taken to social media to respond to the announcement of the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
