/R E P E A T -- Media Advisory - Wreath laying ceremony to commemorate the 60th anniversary of CAF Peacekeeping Operations in Cyprus/

OTTAWA, ON, March 12, 2024 /CNW/ - The Government of Canada will host a wreath laying ceremony to mark the 60th anniversary of Canadian peacekeeping operations in Cyprus at a commemorative event at the National Peacekeeping Monument (The Reconciliation). More than 25,000 Canadian Armed Forces members completed tours on the island of Cyprus between 1964 and 1993. This mission is considered one of Canada's longest and best-known overseas military commitments.
