Rahul Gandhi has a ‘wonderful conversation’ with an Uber driver

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has been on the road for a while now, interacting with people who have been stranded due to the coronavirus lockdown.

Just days after speaking with poor migrants, the Gandhi scion today morning said that he had a ‘wonderful conversation’ with an Uber driver about the problems he and many others like him are facing due to the strict lockdown.

“A wonderful early am conversation with Parmanand, an Uber driver in Delhi about the problems he & many others like him are facing. #lockdown #covid19 #india (sic)," said Rahul Gandhi’s post on his Instagram handle.

Rahul, who is the Congress MP from Wayanad in Kerala, has been leading his party’s charge against the Modi government.

He has been very vocal in criticising the government over the way it has handled the pandemic, the lockdowns and the phased withdrawal from the restrictions.

Uber has recently cut thousands of jobs in the last few weeks across the world.

A couple of days ago, Rahul had shared a video where he can be seen talking to a group of migrants from Haryana.
